Update...
Yes people I'm still here, I haven't given up on my site. Life has been EXTREMELY busy so in order to recap, here's what happened while I was gone and not writing anything:
Little Dude officially started school
Got a chocolate lab puppy. Named him "Tucker" (he's a hyperactive bastard)
I joined the Marine Corps League.
Computer is still fried and I haven't repaired it yet.
Renovated the bathroom in the Fortress. Now I can take showers upstairs. Whoo hoo!
Struggling with Charter to get my long distance phone service installed.
Medical stuff for the wife.
Halloween preparations.
Hardcore programming at work with late days and weekends.
Attending training classes for PFC Tucker.
Final landscaping for the season.
Work related corporate training.
And finally...doing my best to be a kick-ass dad, husband and all-around nicer person.
At times I find it simply amazing how much the mundanity of life can consume most or all of your days. Before you know it, several months have passed and a whole new crop of items need to be resolved. Well...I've gotta take a shower and get the day started.
