I'm Back...
Yes, I went to the deserts of Afghanistan. Spent a month there, did missions. Whatever.
Was called back when it was discovered that my wife has Stage IV Non-small cell lung cancer. Diagnosis date was April 30th.
Since then I've been working as a recruiter in our town to allow me to stay on Active Duty while I take care of her.
Her cancer spread to her bones, her skin, brain, and spine. Yes it sucks, but we are fighting it. I'm worried though, this last week has been particularly rough after this last round of radiation.
I want her to feel better. I hate seeing her in so much pain.
Life sucks.

Praying for you and your wife. Going through all this is terrible.
Went thru this with my mom. In such, my heart goes out to you. Prayers are being sent on the winds - hopefully you'll be able to stop and feel them.

I am so sorry to hear about your wife. You two are both in my prayers. I myself have stage IV colon cancer that spread to my thoratic spine. I took some radiation and now doing the chemo thing and no one knows how rough it is till they deal with it. God bless you both.
May she have an angel by her side to guide her through the suffering till that day when she will get well again approaches your life.
Let us all pray for her.
